MARQUETTE - Members of USA Wrestling's Cadet World Team will be at Northern Michigan University through Friday while training under USOEC head coach Rob Hermann.

Hermann will be in Europe as the squad's coach at the Cadet World Championships on Tuesday and Wednesday in Zrenjanin, Serbia, according to a USOEC news release.

"Bringing the team to NMU was important to us," Hermann said. "These are the top guys in their age group in the country and we wanted to give them a look at NMU and our program."

The Cadet World Team includes athletes 15 to 17 years old who earned their spots by winning the FILA Cadet Nationals in May in Akron, Ohio.

Kyle Norstrem of Brandon, Fla., will make his second appearance in the World Championships. Norstrem, who went 1-1 last year, is hoping to medal this time.

"Camp is going great," Norstrem said. "I'm working on technique and am looking to get on the podium. The university is a perfect place to train."
