HOSA students qualify for nationals

The Health Occupations Students of America students at Marquette Senior High School recently attended the HOSA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn. Students who attended and their qualifying event included, from left: Paulina Puskala, Knowledge Test Nutrition; Kathleen Noblet, Knowledge Test Pathophysiology; Rachel Johnson and Lindsey Couture, Public Health Team; Zach Abbott and Aminda Johnson, Forensic Medicine Team; and Eddie Brauer, Veterinary Medicine. Brauer finished seventh in the nation. The MSHS HOSA advisor is Ronda Manninen. The students had to qualify at regional and state levels in their respective competitions. While at the conference, Rachel Johnson received the NASCO HOSA Scholarship.
