NEGAUNEE - Due to technical problems with the results, some of the finishes listed for the kids' races at the Teal Lake Triathlon were reported incorrectly in Sunday's Mining Journal.
In the boys race, Logan Williams, age 13, was the winner of the 13-14-year-old age group in 16 minutes, 13.00 seconds.
For the girls, Erin Vanderschaaf, 9, was the overall winner in 15:51.40, covering the 200-foot swim in 1:00.95, two-mile bike ride in 8:48.35 and half-mile run in 5:19.65.
Samantha Olson, 12, was less than 30 seconds behind and second overall in 16:14.25 while also winning the girls 11-12 age group.
With Vanderschaaf's overall girls win, Tessa Leece moved up to win the 9-10 girls group in 16:44.85 with Sofia Van Den Ende close behind in 17:07.80.
In addition, Gwendolyn Rickauer's time was actually 20:12.75 in winning the 7-8 girls group.
