MARQUETTE - The Yellow Jackets defeated the Shadow Wolves, 6-3, on Sunday in the championship game of the U-12 Coed division playoffs for the Superiorland Soccer Association.
The Yellow Jackets (9-1-1) got two goals apiece from Gaetano Cammarata and Tanner Cain, while Jaden Wrobel and Ethan Sellers added one each. Louis Hindman, Isaac Cooper and Joey Elmhirst scored for the Shadow Wolves.
On Saturday, the Yellow Jackets scored a 5-3 win over the Giant Cabbages (7-2-1) as Wrobel tallied three goals and Cammarata and Sellers one each. Cole Dowrick had two goals and Eli Wiitala one for the Cabbages.

The Jackets also pulled out a 3-2 win over the Annoying Oranges (4-5-1) as Wrobel, Sellers and Cain scored, along with the Oranges' Chad Pohlman and Jack Mattias.
For the Shadow Wolves, Cooper scored six goals in a 10-2 win over the Wolves, as Elmhirst added two goals and teammates Connor McLaughlin and Jayden Lessard one apiece. The Wolves got tallies from Robert Apple and Trevor Lewis.
The Shadow Wolves also doubled up on the Giant Cabbages, 4-2. Cooper had three goals and McLaughlin one, while Dowrick and Cabbages' teammate Michael Walker also had single scores.
In addition, the Annoying Oranges nipped the Stones, 4-3, as Pohlman and Mattias each scored twice.
