Board to pick authority members

July 16, 2013
The Mining Journal

MARQUETTE - The Marquette County Board is expected to make appointments to the county brownfield redevelopment authority at this evening's meeting.

The board meets at 6 p.m. in Room 231 of the Henry Skewis Annex to the Marquette County Courthouse.

The brownfield authority has three terms expiring July 31. In August 2010, county Treasurer Anne Giroux, county board member Paul Arsenault and Lance Lindberg were appointed by the board.

A county treasurer and county board representative are required on the authority.

Lindberg and Richard G. Pawley, both of Negaunee, are seeking a three-year term on the authority under the engineer-construction category. The board will decide who to appoint tonight.

Additional agenda items include a district court video recording equipment update and an Upper Peninsula Area Agency of Aging multi-year plan.
