MARQUETTE, Mich. - Dianne Genevieve (Juchemich) Langevin, age 72, of 538 County Road 550, Marquette Township, entered eternal life Sunday, July 7, 2013 in Petoskey.
Born May 30, 1941, in Negaunee, a daughter of Edward and Marie (Johns) Juchemich, Dianne was raised in Negaunee and graduated from St. Paul High School. On July 29, 1961, Dianne married George Langevin and together the couple set about establishing a home and raising a family which would eventually include four children. Dianne's family was everything to her and she enjoyed her role as homemaker and caregiver to her husband and children.
She loved birds and was an avid bird watcher, enjoyed knitting and crocheting for family and friends, and loved the many camping and fishing excursions she and George enjoyed throughout the years.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 53 years, George; two daughters, Barbara (Mitchell) Schley of Cheboygan, Brenda (Jeffrey) Deval of Mexico; her two sons, Duane (Judy) Langevin of Marquette and Michael (Jeanne) Langevin of Arizona; her five grandchildren, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Gerard, Marshal and Shelby; two great-grandchildren; her sister, Carol (Raymond) Perrault; brothers, Edward, Glenn and Billy Juchemich; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marlene Burns; and brothers, Dale and Timmy Juchemich.
Friends may call at the Fassbender Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Leon Jarvis presiding. Graveside services will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Munising, at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
