MUNISING, Mich. - Kylock Marie (Bellant) Kivisto of Nashville, Tennessee died peacefully with her family and her partner, Mr. Tom Brazil at her side on November 28, 2012.
Kylock was born on January 13, 1940 at Munising Memorial Hospital to the late Raymond and Gertrude (Rautanen) Bellant. In 1960, she married Douglas Kivisto of Negaunee and they had two children, Douglas Kivisto Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and Kimberly Kivisto (Chris) of Elmhurst, Illinois. Ky loved to travel and lived in many places, including Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, Minnesota and Wisconsin, before settling in Nashville.
She is survived by her children, Douglas and Kimberly, a grandson, Erik, her brother, Jim Bellant (Jayne) of San Diego, California and sister Debra Lindeblad (Ed) of Munising, Michigan, nephews, Greg Kivisto (Patti) Christopher Bellant, Swan Lindeblad, (Barb), Stephen Bellant and Scott Lindeblad (Tammy) and one niece, Linda Cornell (Paul) as well as great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gertrude (Rautanen) and sister Joyce Bellant.
A graveside service will be held on July 6, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising, Michigan with a gathering following at 1:30pm at Sydney's Restaurant in the lounge to reminisce and celebrate Ky's life.
