Lack retires from VA service

IRON MOUNTAIN - After 15 years of federal service, Dr. Cynthia Lack, MD, of Marquette, Michigan, retired from the VA Outpatient Clinic in Marquette on May 31, 2013.

Dr. Lack was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan and is the daughter of Eddie and Helen Lack. She graduated from Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine with an MD Degree in 1979 and completed the Family Practice residency program in 1982. Dr. Lack started her VA career in 1998 and served all fifteen years at the Marquette VA clinic.

Dr. Lack has one daughter, Ana (Tim) Sicotte, and three grandchildren: Lilly, Landon, and Kassidy.

Her retirement plans include being with her grandchildren and mother, Helen, and spend more time gardening, walking her dog Willy, and being more involved in the peace and justice community in Marquette.
