Westwood BPA students earn awards

ISHPEMING - Westwood High School had 12 students attend the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference recently in Orlando, Fla.

The following students were national award winners:

- Emily Bertucci - second place, Administrative Support Research Project-Individual

- Gabi Kautz second place, Legal Office Procedures; eighth place, Advanced Word Processing Skills

- Courtney Beauchamp - fourth place, Legal Office Procedures

- Addi Hollinshead - fourth place, Insurance Concepts

- Kaitlyn Seelen - eighth place, Integrated Office Applications

Other WHS students who qualified to attend the National Conference were Rachel Anderson, Emily Carlson, Michael Farley, Daniel Irish, Francois Montbrun and Leah Racine, accompanied by advisers Ronalyn Arseneau and Debra DeVries.

Approximately 5,400 students from across the United States participated in Business Professionals of America's 47th National Leadership Conference.
