MARQUETTE - Two young riders reached milestones at races held at the Marquette BMX track on June 18.
Matthew Johnson, 8, of Marquette won his 20th intermediate race to move up to expert class, while Dyllan Lindsay, 7, of Ishpeming earned his first win in the 7 Novice class.
The track will host its annual Olympic Day race on June 27, which are free to anybody interested. Registration runs from 6-6:45 p.m. For more information, call Steve Basal at 228-6202.
