MARQUETTE - Mike Grant of Negaunee picked a good time to sink a hole-in-one at the Marquette Golf Club.

Competing in the Wednesday Night 3-Man Scramble League, he aced the 128-yard, par-3, seventh hole on the Heritage Course. The club he used wasn't reported.

Witnesses were Gene Fisher and Jerry Koski.

On May 30, Jordon Mason, 12, of Negaunee sank a hole-in-one at the Marquette Golf Club.

MGC officials verified the ace Friday in which Mason used a 5-wood on the par-3, 151-yard fifth hole at the Heritage Course.

Carter Mason and Peyton Anderson witnessed the feat.
