Dishaw wins sudden death playoff to qualify for Michigan Amateur Golf Championship

MARQUETTE - Dustin Dishaw of Crystal Falls topped Carter Hendricks from L'Anse in a sudden death playoff after both shot an 81 on Saturday at Marquette Golf Club on the Greywalls Course during qualifying for the Michigan Amateur Golf Championship.

Dishaw advances to the state competition, which will be held at Muskegon Country Club on June 18-22.

Hendricks will be the first alternate while Scott Frazier of Marquette will be the second alternate after carding an 83. Darren Vizina from downstate Indian River being is the third alternate after shooting an 85.
