MARQUETTE Darlene Inch and Jeff Goodney were recently elected to the Lake Superior Hospice Board of Directors.
Inch received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Northern Michigan University and has coordinated a number of fundraising and special events. She was formerly executive director of the Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce and recently retired from the city of Marquette, where she worked for the city manager
She's a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and lives in Negate Township with her husband Jim. The couple has four grown sons and four grandchildren.
Goodney graduated from Michigan Tech University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and is a registered professional engineer. He is a partner at Cloner Construction and Sales Inc. in Marquette where he has worked for the past 11 years.
He has served as a past president of the Marquette Builder's Exchange and is a trustee at Redeemer Lutheran Church.
A native of Marquette, he lives here with his wife Carrie and two daughters.
Lake Superior Hospice is a local, independent, non-profit organization that has been providing support for families in Marquette County for more than 30 years.
