Depression, anxiety talk at library

MARQUETTE - In recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness month, Mary Ritter, MA, LPC, CAAC, a therapist at Great Lakes Recovery Centers, will examine the role of diet and exercise on depression and anxiety from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.

Losing weight is challenging for everyone. It can be particularly difficult for someone with a serious mental illness. The session will look at clinical studies results which prove that modified diet and exercise programs can help people with serious mental illnesses.

Attendees may bring their own lunch or buy from the library cafe. Admission id free and no registration is required.
