Kenneth M. “Biddo” Dymond

ISHPEMING, MI. - Kenneth M. "Biddo" Dymond, age 62, of 114 W. Superior St. Ishpeming passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in the Emergency Room at the Bell Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. Kenneth was born January 29, 1951 in Ishpeming the son of Bernice (Asgaard) and the late Kenneth M. Dymond Sr. He attended the National Mine School. "Biddo" had worked for the city of Ishpeming in his younger years in the dept. of public works. He had spent over thirty years delivering meals on wheels for AMCAB in the Ishpeming area with 36 daily clients. He loved the senior citizens he served and would go above and beyond what his job required. "Biddo" had also worked for the Ishpeming Senior Center for twenty years. He loved time spent at family gatherings, especially when it involved his grandchildren. "Biddo" enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, tinkering with his Corvette, along with time spent camping, or with his three dogs.

Survivors include his fiance and longtime companion Bonnie Renfors of Ishpeming, his mother Bernice Dymond of Ishpeming, a daughter Taunya (Michael) Oswald of Negaunee, four sisters Sandra (Patrick) McMahon of Marquette, Lynn Dymond and her significant other Dave Warshawsky of Ishpeming, Barbara (James) Donato of Ishpeming, Debbie (Michael) Massie of Ishpeming, two brothers Richard (Lorelei) Dymond of Ishpeming and Ronnie Dymond and his significant other Paula Gravedoni of Ishpeming, seven grandchildren Michael Oswald Jr., Daniel, Matthew, Nathaniel, Raina, Jordan and Sierra Oswald, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth M. Dymond Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00pm on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with the Rev. Lauri O. Maki to officiate. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 2 until 5pm on Monday. A luncheon will follow the services in the Bethel Lutheran Church Hall.
