Spring event at history center

MARQUETTE - The Marquette Regional History Center's Third Saturday Series will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18. The event's theme is "Spring is in the Air," and will include a dance performance outdoors by The Marquette Folk Dancers at 1 p.m. They will perform a traditional May Pole Dance at 1 p.m. followed by a demonstration. There also will be a "make a basket of flowers" activity and a chance to do some spring planting to take home.

The cost, included with museum admission, is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, $3 for students and $2 for ages 12 and younger.
