HARTFORD, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State Police say two people from Watervliet have died in a head-on car crash near Hartford.
Lt. Dale Hinz says a 66-year-old man and his 91-year-old female passenger were killed in the crash Thursday. The 70-year-old driver of the second car suffered injuries that police say aren't life-threatening. Hinz say the Hartford man was listed as stable at an area hospital Thursday.
He says police are continuing to investigate what caused the crash and in which directions the vehicles were traveling at the time. They haven't released the names of the victims.
