ISHPEMING - After a six-week investigation, the Ishpeming Police have arrested a suspect in the case of the Huron Mountain Bakery breaking and entering.

Charles Raymond Elveteci, 30, of Negaunee was arrested on a warrant Monday at the Marquette County Jail where he is being held on an unrelated matter. Elveteci was arraigned this morning in the 96th District Court in Marquette on one count of breaking and entering a building with intent, a felony charge punishable up to 10 years in prison.

The Ishpeming Police were called to the Huron Mountain Bakery in Ishpeming on March 8 when it was discovered that the bakery had been broken into and a money box was taken. A surveillance system in the bakery had captured a video of the break-in which had occurred on March 7.
