Policy questioned

April 21, 2013
Gil Beckmann, Ishpeming , The Mining Journal

To the Journal editor:

Need money for the roads? Well, take the sales tax collected on every gallon of gasoline, which is 21 cents a gallon right now and you will more than double your gas tax dollars!

Oh, and you also must use all the gas taxes collected for the roads and not funnel some of it off for other things.

If the people running our state can't get it done with double the gas tax dollars, maybe we need new people running the state!
