To the Journal editor:
OK, here's your chance to affect, maybe change, our liberal gun laws, no pun intended. If you feel you need to have an assault rifle with 20-30 round magazines write or call your legislature at once.
If on the other hand, you feel it is just a little over-kill and dangerous to possess this amount of lethality, and potentially have it fall into the wrong hands as has happened more than once recently, write or call your legislature at once too, like I did (recently). Below is their contact info.
Above all, though, highly urge them to do what they are paid to do; debate issues and vote on them ASAP. Currently, however, senate Republicans don't want to go on record and vote one way or another on reinstating the assault weapon ban and large capacity magazines.
An increasing number of them even want to filibuster. One way or another, they deserve a vote.
