LAKE WORTH, Fla - David Selin died at 96 years old.

He was a Captain in the Army Air Corps during World War II and fought in the South Pacific for three and one half years. He celebrated his 90th birthday by skydiving. He lit up the room with his enthusiasm for life and desire to make himself and others happy. He loved bridge, business, travel and best of all a good joke.

He was married to Beatrice Selin for 59 years. He will be missed by his beloved children Lisa, Cathy and Joe Selin; granddaughter, Emily Shearer and in-laws Richard Shearer and Maria Selin; and significant other Marge Raskin.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, Fla.
