NEGAUNEE - Today's championship game matchups are set in two of three divisions playing this weekend at the 49th annual Charter Communications Negaunee Invitational Tournament at Lakeview Memorial Gymnasium in Negaunee.
In the 45-years-and-older division, CPCCA of Cheboygan will square off with Lewis/Skil of Traverse City for the title at 4:30 p.m. after each won games Saturday afternoon. The consolation championship will be played before that game at 3:15 p.m.
CPCCA nipped GE Builders of Negaunee, 74-72, as the winners' Scott Hancock scored 22 points and teammate Stuart Hancock 20. GE's Terry Norman also pumped in 22 points, while Jim Marietti had 14.

Lewis/Skil followed with a 61-52 victory over 3% Realty of Marquette. John Gilbert scored 24 points and Todd Fewins 13 for Lewis, while Harley Clickner put in 14 points and teammate Rich Ledy 13 for 3%.
In the consolation bracket Saturday, GE Builders outscored Forward Financial of Niagara, Wis., 92-57 as Terry Kainulainen had 24 and Gerry Zabrowske 22 in the winning effort and Leon Waitrovich scored 20 and Jim Anderson 19 for FF.
In Women's Class B, the all-Negaunee championship final is set between Morning Glory and Shenanigan's at 7 p.m. The consolation final is immediately before at 5:45 p.m.
Morning Glory won for the second time in 18 hours with a 56-35 victory over The Model Towners of Gwinn on Saturday morning. MG's Elana Hemmila scored 12 points and Heather Moore 10, while The Model Towners' Ashley Wellman knocked down 12 points.
Shenanigan's got there with two wins Saturday, a 58-40 victory over SISU of Houghton and 89-42 win over Team 906 of Negaunee.
In the first game, Shenanigan's Mallory Pruett scored 17 points and Courtney Waara 16, while SISU's got 14 points from Maria Honkala and eight from Jody Heinonen.
In the second-game victory, Waara and teammate Sam Flietstra each scored 21 points as 906's Kymber Beltome and Jen Musser each pumped in 11.
Earlier in the day, Team 906 overcame a 25-point game by Karla McCutchen to defeat the Martin Sports Apparel Cougars of Ishpeming, 49-44. The winners got 18 points from Musser and 12 from Beltrame.
Women's Class A had a late game Saturday to determine its finalists for its championship at 2 p.m. today.
In earlier games Saturday, Next Level Basketball of Baraga won 54-40 over Jack's TeePee of Ishpeming. The winners' Mariah Dunham led all scorers with 26 points, while teammate Carly Benson added 12. For Jack's, Sarah Stream scored 14 points and Maria Kasza had 10.
Jack's came back later for a 81-65 win over Remie's of Marquette as Lindsey Lindstrom scored 22 and Beth Helminen 13 for Jack's, while Jackie Davey had 18 and Renee Bowerman 14 for Remie's.
