MARQUETTE - The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center offers teenagers new free arts programs and workshops. Teens may drop-in after school to work on sketches, practice acoustic instruments, or use the space for recreational time. MACC will provide sketch books, art magazines, hot beverages and popcorn.
Funded by the Kaufman Foundation, the MACC is also offering two free art workshops for teens taught by Dan Jarvis and Gale Lajoye. Jarvis will teach Mask and Mold Making and Lajoye will teach Theatre Training. Both work shops will be offered weekly in April. Call ahead to sign up.
