Library to screen ‘Walk the Line’

MARQUETTE - In celebration of March as Women's History Month, Peter White Public Library presents the film "Walk the Line" at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the library's community room.

Reese Witherspoon portray June Carter Cash, with Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash. Released in 2005, the film chronicles the life of country music legend Johnny Cash, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis, where he recorded alongside Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. The film is rated PG-13 and runs for 136 minutes.
