In addition, GLSA members Kayley Emblad and Aaron Grzelak also placed.

Emblad finished third overall in the Girls U12 age class with 32 points, while Grzelak picked up second and third place medals for slalom, a second in Kombi and a third in giant slalom for coach Dan Menze.

A reported field of 100-120 boys and girls junior racers (ages 7-14) from the all over the Midwest took part in the competition.

The event was comprised of five individual races (two slalom, two giant slalom and a Kinder Kombi). Each racer was awarded points based on order of finishes to determine an overall winner in each age class.
