Not Just Half Time show at MSHS

MARQUETTE - The Marquette Senior High School Dance Team Presents: Not Just A Half Time Show at 7 p.m. Monday in the Marquette Senior High School Gymnasium. The show will include performances by The Marquette Senior High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Dance Teams, New Attitudes Dance Studio, Dawn Dott Dance Studio, Marquette Center for Dance, Superior Dance Academy, The Westwood High School Dance Team and The Northern Michigan University Dance Team.

Scrabble Club meets Sunday

MARQUETTE - The Peter White Public Library Scrabble Club will meet from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the library. The club meets on the third Sunday of each month in Workshop 4 in conjunction with the Traditional Music Jams. Participants should enter through the Community room on the lower level of the library. Open to ages 12 and older, multiple game sets are available to accommodate varying skill levels.

St. Paddy stories, crafts offered

MARQUETTE - Students from the Northern Michigan University Chapter of the National Speech Language Hearing Association will celebrate "Happy St. Patrick's Day Stories and Crafts" with ages 3 and older from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Sunday in the Children's Room at the Peter White Public Library. No registration necessary.

Sunday dance in Trenary

TRENARY - A dance will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Trenary Community Building in Trenary. Music will be provided by Wil Kilpela and Friends. Admission is $5 per person, with a $3 lunch available.

Watercolor exhibit talk at MACC

MARQUETTE - The Lake Superior Art Association will hold a DVD showing of the 2012 annual exhibition of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center, 217 N. Front St. in Marquette. Sue Acocks will provide artwork commentary.
