Quilt Day celebration at library

MARQUETTE - The Marquette County Quilters' Association and the Marquette Arts and Culture Center will offer a National Quilt Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Peter White Public Library Community Room. Admission is free.

This day for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult) and will include displays of quilts and quilt-related items, as well as a "Bed Turning" exhibit of antique quilts. Local children's author Ragene Henry will share her books of Upper Michigan history and quilts depicted in her stories.
