The Throttle supports local organizations

The Throttle Bar & Grill in Little Lake raised $7,150 during its Sled Nights this winter. Included was a Sled Night in mid-February that raised $1,650 for the Forsyth Township Fire Department. Shown at the check presentation are: Bottom row, from left, FTFD representative Brandon Sorenson and The Throttle volunteers Leah Owens and Tierra Copley; and top row, from left, co-sponsor Frei Chevrolet representative Matt Winfield, FTFD Assistant Chief Jason Stansky, The Throttle owners Scott and Sally Searle and FTFD representatives L.J. Copley and Kyle Fowler. The funds raised this winter will also benefit Bay Cliff Health Camp, Upper Peninsula Honor Flight, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marquette and Alger Counties, U.P. Pink Power, Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter and Forsyth Township EMTs.
