MARQUETTE?- Dr. Jason Glen Funderburk has joined the staff of the Interventional and Vascular Institute of Northern Michigan and The Vein Clinic located on the fourth floor of Marquette General Hospital. He is a board-certified Vascular & Interventional Radiologist.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University, Funderburk obtained his medical doctorate at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Following an internship in general surgery at the University of Connecticut, he completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the Hartford Hospital. He completed his training with a fellowship at the Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Miami.
He was formerly chief of vascular and interventional radiology at Weill-Cornell Medical Center. He also has a master's degree in business administration from NYU's Stern School of Business. His interests include arterial and venous disease, minimally invasive cancer treatments and pain interventions. For an appointment, call 225-7808.
