MARQUETTE - The Marquette County Board is scheduled to honor two of its former members at its meeting tonight.

Former commissioners Nick Joseph and Charles Bergdahl are scheduled to be presented resolutions of appreciation for each serving 20 years on the board.

The two men were originally scheduled to be honored by the panel last Tuesday, but stormy weather forced postponement of the meeting.

Today's meeting will be at 6 p.m. in Room 231 of the Henry Skewis Annex to the Marquette County Courthouse in Marquette.

Additional agenda items include a circuit court update, scheduling of a strategic plan discussion, a board member recommendation to serve on the Economic Development Corporation panel, an air cargo agreement, an equipment purchase and a letter of support for the Superior Watershed Partnership.

John Pepin can be reached at 906-228-2500, ext. 206.
