MARQUETTE - Old Man Winter dealt another blow Wednesday to area sporting events. Snow and blowing snow led to the postponement or cancelation of several games scheduled to be played.
At Ishpeming, it led to creative scheduling with the IHS to host a boys basketball contest between the Hematites and Munising at 6:15 tonight followed by a girls game against Negaunee at 7:45 p.m.

Also, Tuesday's Carney-Nadeau at Republic Michigamme game that was postponed has been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
