Winter weather causes more cancellations

MARQUETTE - Northern Michigan University evening classes are canceled.

MARQUETTE - The Marquette County Board meeting scheduled for tonight has been canceled.

NEGAUNEE - All clinic services at the Marquette County Health Department scheduled for today are canceled due to the inclement weather. The clinic is closed and will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

SENEY - Due to weather conditions Seney National Wildlife Refuge is canceling

tonight's Winter Film Festival.

The movies that were to be shown tonight, "The Magic of the Snowy Owl" and "Mother: Caring for 7 Billion," will be

shown at 6:30 March 5 at the Visitor Center.

BIG BAY - The Eagle Mine announced that it shut down at 1 p.m. today due to blizzard conditions affecting the site and the AAA Road, County Road 510 and County Road 550. Unless otherwise notified, employees and contractors should expect normal operations to resume on Wednesday.
