February 15, 2013
The Mining Journal

Workers from Oberstar Inc. dump snow along West Washington Street in downtown Marquette this morning in preparation for this evening's sled dog races. U.P. 200 mushers will begin hitting the trail at 6:50 p.m. and Midnight Run teams at 9 p.m. Oberstar, which has been contracted to prepare the roadway for the past several years, hauls 60 to 65 loads of snow from various parking lots around the city into downtown.
