MSHS grads meet in Afghanistan

Sgt. Daniel Liberty, left, and Sgt. Matthew Bertram, both of Marquette, had the chance to reunite recently over non-alcoholic beers in Kandahar, Afghanistan. They are 2006 graduates of Marquette Senior High School and are deployed with the U.S. Army to support operations in Afghanistan. Liberty, an air traffic controller, will soon return to Stork Barracks in Germany and Bertram, a military police officer, will be returning to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, next fall.
