Rexford Paul Larmour

ELY TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Rexford Paul Larmour, age 94 of 1640 County Road 496 Ishpeming (Ely Township), passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans where he been a resident since October 2012.

Rexford was born September 29, 1918 in Clarksburg to William and Elizabeth (Legacy) Larmour. He graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1937 and served his country in the US Army during World War II. Rexford worked for Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company from 1964 until 1981 retiring as a heavy equipment operator from the Republic Mine.

Rexford was a member of the United Steel Workers of America local 4950. He enjoyed gardening, feeding birds and had a love for dogs.

Rexford is survived by 3 sons: David R. Larmour of Ishpeming, Leslie P. (Mary Jo) Larmour of DePere, WI and Patrick J. (Kim) Larmour of Seabrook, TX, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in 1998, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.

Honoring Rexford's wishes there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Northland Chapel Gardens.
