MARQUETTE - Carol Carr has joined Lake Superior Hospice as its chief executive officer.
Carr has 12 years of working at non-profits, including with Omega House in Houghton and the the Northern Michigan University Foundation.
She received a bachelor's in communications and political science from Western Washington University and has completed a certificate in fundraising management from The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.
She serves as an advisory board member for the DeVos Museum at NMU and is a volunteer with the Sandy Knoll School Association.
A Marquette native, Carr lives in Marquette with her husband and two children.
Lake Superior Hospice is an independent non-profit organization that has been providing end of life care to families in Marquette and Alger counties for more than 30 years.
