MARQUETTE - At a Marquette Superiorland Kiwanis Club breakfast meeting, Liana Storm and Forest Folker were honored as the Marquette Senior High School Athletes of the Month for November.
Storm is currently a two-year member of the Redettes' varsity basketball team. The point guard led her team in steals and assists through the first four games of the season.
Since her freshmen year, she has played four school sports every year, including cross country, volleyball and track.

She was named to the All-Great Northern Conference First Team in volleyball this past season.
Storm enjoys spending time with friends and family, and has been a Special Olympics volunteer for many years.
She plans to attend Northern Michigan University, considering nursing as a major.
Folker is a member of the MSHS hockey team, his second season on the squad. He's team captain this season.
He has been moved to a forward position this season after being named to the all-conference First Team as a defenseman in 2011-12.
After five games this season, Forest had eight goals and seven assists for 15 points.
Folker enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, watching sports, lifting weights and keeping up with his studies.
He's on the Honor Roll consistently at MSHS and holds a 3.5 GPA.
Folker also volunteers as a Youth Coordinator for the UP Down Syndrome Association, as well as with the Salvation Army.
He's planning to attend college, majoring in either psychology or law.
