MARQUETTE - Ericka L. McCarthy of Marquette recently received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine.
McCarthy was accepted into Michigan State's internship program for small animal medicine and surgery.
The daughter of Rick and Joan McCarthy of Marquette, she is a 2003 graduate of Gwinn High School and a 2007 graduate of Northern Michigan University, graduating with a degree in physiology.
