Fisher Street shooting injures one victim

MARQUETTE - Marquette City Police were investigating an early morning shooting incident today, which occurred at a two-story house along Fisher Street in Marquette.

In a news release, police said they responded to the residence at 518 Fisher St. on a report of a female gunshot victim.

Police said the victim was taken to Marquette General Hospital and was being treated for a non-life-threatening injury. No additional details were made available before press time today, with detectives involved in interviews related to the incident.
