If the snowfall the area received toward the end of the firearm deer season wasn't enough, the dicey road conditions that greeted most Upper Peninsula drivers Monday morning on the commute in to work certainly signaled that winter has finally arrived in the region.
And that means area drivers should shift themselves - and how they pilot their vehicles - into winter mode.
