SAULT STE. MARIE - There will be a T.E.F.A.P. commodities food distribution in the Eastern Upper Peninsula Wednesday through Friday. The distribution for the Chippewa, Luce and Mackinac quarterly food distribution is as follows:
Wednesday - Drummond Island Township Hall 3 to 4 p.m.; Newberry Community Building (alley) 2 to 4 p.m.
Thursday - Pickford Township Hall 8 to 10 a.m.; Raber Township Hall, Goetzville; Rudyard Community Center 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.; 300 Water St., Senior High Rise 10 to 11 a.m.; Sugar Island Community Center 8 to 10 a.m.; Whitefish Township Hall, Paradise 8 a.m. to noon; Mackinac County C.C.A., St. Ignace 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.;
Friday - Clark Township Community Center, Cedarville 8 a.m. to noon; Detour Township Hall
Distribution is 9 a.m. to noon unless otherwise noted. Many centers will not remain open once the food is gone. There will not be a distribution in Brimley. For more information, 906-632-3363.
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program Red Card delivery dates are as follows:
Dec. 31 Newberry, Engadine and Curtis; Dec. 26 St. Ignace, Cedarville, Detour, Goetzville, Pickford, Rudyard and Kinross; and Dec. 27 Sault Ste. Marie and Brimley.
