HOUGHTON, Mich. - Vincent B. "Vince" Enrietti, 92, a resident of The Bluffs Senior Community, Houghton, died on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Portage Health. Prior to residing at the Bluffs, he lived on Baraga Street in Houghton for several years.
He was born in Mohawk, Mich., on April 15, 1920, a son of the late Joseph and Johanna (Ceretto) Enrietti and was a 1939 graduate of the Calumet High School.
In 1940, Vince married the former Annetta (Catherine) Falardeau in Burkley, Mich. She preceded him in death on May 8, 1966.

Vince was employed for 41 and a half years at Michigan Bell Telephone Co., working in Detroit, Marquette, Sault Ste. Marie and Houghton, retiring in 1982, as a support service supervisor. Vince was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, serving from 1942 to 1945. He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Parish of Houghton, a life member of the American Legion Post 44 of Marquette and a member of Michigan Bell Telephone Pioneers.
Surviving are two daughters, Jacklynn (Jerome) Enders of Laona, Wis., and Pamela (Mark) Brookshire of Franklin, Wis.; a son, Paul (Lynn) Enrietti of Marquette; six grandchildren, Maline Enders, Mary (Eric) Lemaster, Paula (Lovett) Davis, Greg Petersen Gretchen Enrietti and Heidi (Rock) Viviano; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph "Joe" Enrietti of Allouez and James "Jim" (Teri) Enrietti of Dalton, Mich.; three nieces; one nephew, several cousins; and many dear friends.
Besides his parents and wife, Vince was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kristine; brother, John; and special friend, Dorothy Morin.
The family would especially like to thank the staff at Portage Health for their kindness and compassion. They would also like to thank all the wonderful friends Vince has made through the years, as well as the friends and staff at The Bluffs that have shown him such love over the years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Houghton, with Fr. John Martignon as celebrant. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass on Saturday at the church. Spring burial with military rites will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Marquette.
