To the Journal editor:
In the midst of all the negativity surrounding the morals and drive of our youth being expressed lately, I would like to share a most positive experience. I am taking advantage of Northern Michigan University's Senior Program, enabling older citizens to take courses without tuition. I am auditing an Art History Class, "Modernity in Art - the 19th Century" being taught by Dr. Mitsutoshi Oba.
Almost all of my classmates are very much younger than I and have exhibited such intelligence and creativity, I am truly impressed. We should be more than confident that the future of our nation is in the most capable of hands.
