NEGAUNEE, MI. - Gloria J. Trombetta, 75, formerly of 636 Everett St., Negaunee, died at 3:50 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 surrounded by her family and under the care of Upper Peninsula Home Health and Hospice.

Gloria was born June 11, 1937 in Ishpeming to John and Mathilda (Koski) Mannila and attended Negaunee High School. She was employed with various different jobs in her younger years, but dedicated a majority of her life to raising her 7 children.

Mrs. Trombetta was a member of the Negaunee VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a former member of the Negaunee Eagles. In her free time she enjoyed taking her daily 2 mile walk, dancing, going to the casino, and bowling in her younger years. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of 19 years whom she married May 7, 1993, Victor Trombetta of Negaunee; 3 sons: Steven (Lori Butler) Bourdage of Ishpeming, Dennis (Janet Goheen) Bourdage of Negaunee, Francis (Tory) Bourdage of Negaunee; 4 daughters: Linda (George) Cavadeas of Escanaba, Debbie (Steve) Beauchamp of Ishpeming, Terrie (Dennis) Luokkala of Negaunee, and Cheryl (Tim) Bertucci of Negaunee; 8 grandchildren: Kacy and Kalli Cavadeas, Lisa, Eric and Allen (Joette) Beauchamp, April and Tyler Luokkala, Derek (Renee Dishaw) Bertucci, and Rachel (Adam) Simonsen; 1 great-grandson, Jax Bertucci; a sister, Lorraine (George) Makela of Toivola; 3 step-sons: Mark, Dennis and Kim Trombetta; special nieces who she thought of as her own daughters: Shirley and Lois Mannila; special sister-in-law, Virginia Mannila; special friends: Mickey Winters and Renee Petrocik, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Francis E. Bourdage on Aug. 18, 1991, 3 brothers: Edward, Leroy, and Donald Mannila; and 1 sister, Elaine Petrocik.

A celebration of Gloria's life will be held with the time and date to be announced by the Koskey Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the Negaunee Cemetery.
