MARQUETTE - A draft of the Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority's new 5-Year Recreation Plan is now available for public inspection and comment. The draft plan is available at the member municipal offices and at public libraries, including Peter White Library, Ishpeming Carnegie Library and Negaunee Library.
Citizens may submit their comments by calling the Recreation Authority at 235-2923, by emailing ironoreheritage@gmail.com or by dropping them off at 337 W. Washington St., in Marquette. A public hearing will be held Dec. 18 to adopt the Recreation Plan.
