The Ishpeming High School football team celebrates its MHSAA Division 7 state semifinal victory over Pewamo-Westphalia, 8-7, on Saturday afternoon inside Northern Michigan University's Superior Dome in Marquette. Eric Kostreva scored Ishpeming's lone touchdown while Alex Briones ran in the game-winning two-point conversion. The Hematites, at 12-1 overall, will square off against undefeated Detroit Loyola at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Ford Field in Detroit for the MHSAA Division 7 State Championship.
