To the Journal editor:
I would like to thank the voters of the Ishpeming Public School District who turned out to approve the renewal of the district operating millage.
The $552,000 generated by the millage is used for such items as student textbooks and supplies, student activities, instruction, utilities and bus transportation.
Again, my appreciation to the community minded voters of the Ishpeming Public School District.
