ISHPEMING - Paradise defeated Rumorz 11-5 on Nov. 6 to finish in a tie for first place in the Ishpeming Women's Pool League.
Paradise shares the top spot with Hickey's I, which also won but by the narrower margin of 9-7 over Jack's I.
In addition, American Legion finished just a point out of first place after recording a 10-6 win over Wonder Bar.
In other matches, Jack's III upended Rainbow, 10-6, and Hickey's II tied VFW, 8-8.

Pool League
In play from Nov. 7, Dry Dock beat Remie's, 6-3; Remie's Roses drubbed Dry Dock Devils, 7-2; Fat Boyz II stopped Wooden Nickel II, 6-3; and 3rd Base Bar dumped Blue Lounge, 7-2.
Also, Longshot II downed Wahlstrom's, 7-2; Wooden Nickel I edged Fat Boyz, 5-4; and Pat's trimmed Longshot I, 5-4.

In Week 10 results, Full Throttle Saloon crushed Sturgis Saloon II, 14-1; Cascade Inn II clobbered Full Throttle II, 14-1; Crossroads Bar bounced Hideaway, 12-3; and Hideaway II doubled up Fat Boyz South, 10-5.
In addition, Happy Hour Bar II shaded Up North Lodge, 8-7; American Legion tripped Cascade Inn III, 8-7; Sturgis Saloon edged American Legion II, 8-7; and Happy Hour Bar tripped VFW, 8-7.
Roy Arbelius and Bryan Kalbfleisch ran tables for wins.

In Week 8 play, Rumorz I squashed Hickey's II, 18-6; Jack's II throttled Wonder Bar, 17-7; Hickey's I thumped Tilden Club, 17-7; and Jack's 1 smashed Wayside, 17-7.
Also, Rumorz II dumped Paradise, 16-8; Riverside edged Jack's III, 13-11; and Rainbow and Rumorz III battled to a 12-12 tie.
Darryll Larson of Jack's I and Tony Noreem of Jack's II were among those posting table runs.
Randy Luoma of Wayside recorded an 8-ball break.
