HOUGHTON - Senior Sam Hoyt recorded the first triple-double in Michigan Tech basketball history, leading the Michigan Tech women's basketball team to a 90-80 season opening win over Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday (Nov. 10).
Hoyt scored 18 points, making all six of her free throw attempts, while grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists.
Junior Taylor Stippel scored a team-high 22 points in her first career start. Senior EmmaVeach scored 13, making 3 of 4 on 3-pointers.
