Winning entrants in Marquette’s Hockey on Third Parade announced

Range Bank sponsored prizes for the top three parade entrants in the recent Hockey on Third Parade that was held during the recent old-timers hockey tournament weekend in Marquette. In above left photo, Chris Gobert of Range Bank, center left, presents a check for $300 to Sherida Riipi of "Hockey Moms Care," the top entrant in the parade, which donated the funds to Becky Mell-Parkinen to help with her cancer treatment. Also shown at the presentation are parade organizers, from left, Phil Johnson of Casa Calabria, Kim L'Huillier of Togo's, Emily Lantot of the Marquette Downtown Development Authority and Tess Jezek of Schwalbach Kitchens. In above right photo, the Bantam AA travel hockey team placed third in the parade. The team received $125 donated by Range Bank and duffle bags from Perani's Hockey World. Shown at the check presentation are, from left, Bantam AA head coach Brian Nebel, players Jack Eyler, Kyle Lane, Kristian Jackson, Alister Henderson, Aydin Frost and Joey Phillip and Gobert. The Pee Wee AA team placed second. Judges voted on creativity, participation and organization.
